Takeaways from a big weekend

That was a huge weekend for the Leafs. Here are my takeaways....
-The second and third periods against Vancouver were the best thus far this season. They looked structured, limited turnovers and had significant offensive zone time. That's a recipe for success. Well done.
-Fourth line minus Reaves looks competent. The Gregor-Kampf-McCann line had a very solid night, contributing for two goals and rarely looking out of position - and most importantly, not getting bogged down in their own end. Not a good indicator for Reaves moving forward.
-Lagesson has shown flashes early. Maybe he's excited cuz he's heading home but the blueliner has not looked out of place in a third pairing role.
-The Domi-Robertson concoction on the third line could really work. It's still relatively early with this line but it's providing a big spark offensively. It's amazing what secondary scoring will do!
