Hey Raps . . . What are we doing here?

Any Raptors fan can reflect on the 2019 season like it was yesterday. But unfortunately, 2019 is four freakin' years ago and this version of the Raps is PAINFUL to watch.

OK - I'll fully admit I didn't watch a lick of last night's game against the Knicks. I was too busy fist pumping/celebrating the Leafs score late in the third and seeing the boys celebrate JT's big accomplishment of 1,000 points. (Only to see the Leafs lose shortly after in overtime, but a point is a point I guess...)

After last night's listless effort against the New York Knicks, the Raps are now 9-14 and continue to provide little to no buzz in the Toronto sports scene. We all know the roster is mid-level, the coaching change hasn't provided the spark many were hoping and the front office continues to remain patient when patience is wearing thin within the fanbase. The irrelevancy is so obvious, JD Bunkis on his podcast today once again asked the question we've all been asking ourselves for a while now: What are we doing here guys?

Anyone watching this team on a semi-consistent basis would know it's Barnes' team now. It has been for quite some time. Masai's unwillingness to part with Siakam unless he receives a king's ransom isn't helping this organization at the moment. It's delaying the inevitable. When you're left wondering if Malachi Flynn is developing into something, that's a red flag in itself.

Listen, Masai will forever be a god in Toronto. But he's got to kickstart this reload/rebuild/reboot - whatever title you want to classify it as - soon. No Raps fan needs to endure this much longer.
