Another year, another opportunity to prove you're legit

This is going to be the shortest blog post yet, because there's really no point going over the line rushes in practice, deciphering what Sheldon Keefe is saying to the media in lead up to the series or if TJ Brodie will eventually make his way back into the lineup after struggling for most of the season.
All of the mainstream media and high end bloggers with a large following are providing their series previews with the in-depth 2,000 word pieces or hour long podcasts that are all great to read/listen to if you're a fan because we all can't get enough coverage of this team we love.
But you're not going to get that here. Instead, I'm just going to say this: WIN.
Another opportunity to prove you're legit
Yes, this team won a round last year. It was unreal. It's ingrained in my memory bank for the rest of my life.
However, this time is different. This time, it's Boston.
We all know the historical context here.
Enough with the platitudes that the Leafs can't get it done against the Bruins. It's all we hear. We're all tired of the same narratives. TD Garden is a house of horrors, the Bruins have the psychological edge, etc., etc., etc.
The Bruins are a good team. But newsflash: they're just like the other 15 teams that qualified for the postseason. The parity in this league is off the charts nowadays and unless you're a fan of the New York Rangers, you're probably thinking this first round is no cake walk. (Sorry Washington.)
It's time to rise Leafs Nation. It's time for this team to erase the crushing heartbreak of years past.
Just win.
Find. A. Way.
